I used to enjoy driving. A lot. In fact, I’d be happy to drive anyone anywhere. They just had to ask. No problem.
I still love driving except I’m beginning to feel it’s a bit of a drag especially when I go pick up Steev. Frankly driving in the vicinity of his college (or any college, [...]

Two more days and it’s lucky wedding date 08.08.08 and guess what? Everyone and their dog will be rushing to get married on this superstitious auspicious date.
But actually it’s quite easy to plan and organize your wedding and honeymoon now that everything’s just a click away on the internet. It’s not in those days when [...]

There I was, sitting in my car outside my son’s college minding my own business when along comes this speeding tin can of a car which nicked my sideview mirror.
I got a shock and looked up to see this white car driving away instead of stopping. I hit my horn continuously for like 5 minutes [...]

The other driver was a young guy who’d just recently gotten his driver’s license and who obviously wasn’t paying attention when [...]

That aside, here are the few more tips I promised.
I plan my travel logistics ahead and grouping my errands so [...]

Well, here we are, a month into that ridiculously high fuel hike and still reeling from the shock of seeing 3 digits whenever I fill up my gas tank! Some weeks, a full tank lasts me less than a week. Gah!
I’m on the road a lot running Mom’s taxi so I don’t have a choice… [...]

I can’t believe the oil price has risen again. According to the news, it’s like the price changes practically every day, mostly upwards. People are starting to get creative in their attempts to save gas.
One guy is making some pretty good sales converting grease and used cooking oil into veggie diesel. Some other guys are [...]

I haven’t washed my car in weeks. I think it’s a bit of a family tradition to have cars caked in dust or at least that’s how my cousin proudly describes it.
The weather being so hot all year, it’s really hard to drag myself out there to give my car a good scrub. Not [...]
