So yeah, the weather’s been nice and cool and I’ve been especially inspired to go out and stay out. In other words, I’m not home manning the phone and whoever wants to get a hold of me will now how to call me on my cell.

Have I mentioned I almost got a heart attack when I pulled out the battery of my pocket PC only to spill its guts all over the floor of the plane? Yes, I am that clumsy. And since that unfortunate episode, my cell phone has never been the same again.

So before it blows up on me, I’m going to take a look at the LG Optimus 7 which my son tells me is way better than my current pocket PC. Although it also works on Windows, it packs a much higher configuration.

I can’t believe I can finally play my beloved MPs at the gym without having to borrow my children’s MP player. Charming, isn’t it? And it works too! Until we turned into the basement parking lot and a lady’s voice chimed over my spanking new GPS, “you are lost!” Hahaha, what a laugh!

A friend of ours dropped his cell phone straight into the toilet bowl at one of the stops he made on his way out of town. Horrors!

We won’t go into how he fished his phone out of the toilet bowl but suffice to say, the thing drowned and was quite dead.

So the lesson learnt here is to secure your cell phone before you hit the bathroom.
