are you a hopeless romantic?

I just happened to glance at my calendar and noticed Valentine’s Day is just a month away. Whoa! Where did the time go, it was just New Year’s yesterday, no?

Anyhow, I love this whole idea of Valentine’s Day and heart shapes everywhere and people who would think up all sorts of elaborate gifts and ideas to impress their loved ones. Yep, I love watching soppy love stories with happy endings, don’t you?

I’ve heard of some guy who took out a cash advance to put up his wedding proposal on a billboard and buy 1000 roses and a diamond ring to propose to his girlfriend :wink: . No shame to that at all considering the state of the economy now, a little help never hurt!

OMG, I think it’s the most romantic thing ever! I can only imagine the look on her face when  she drives by that billboard and sees their photo and his proposal up there! It’s the kind of stuff that only happens in movies, I think but to have it played out in real life is just too cool!

So what are your plans for Valentine’s Day? Will it be the same old bouquet of flowers, box of chocolates or have you got a big, crazy surprise up your sleeve?
