the Olympics are starting and no TV
Can you imagine tomorrow’s the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Beijing and our TV’s not working? Well, the TV’s working but the darned Astro has given up the ghost.
When we called their hotline, some guy walked us perfunctorily over the troubleshooting script, and after burning up the 1-300 phone line (on purpose), we were no closer to finding out exactly what was wrong.
That was 2 weeks ago. We had a couple of busy weekends and completely forgot about the darned decoder. That just goes to show how much TV we watch around here 
.
Finally a couple of days ago, we found out it was the decoder that was the problem. We’ve sent it for repair. No idea when it’s coming back. And the Olympics start tomorrow! GRRRRReat!

That sure is a bummer, the opening ceremonies were so awesome and well done. You should look them up on youtube.

Hope everything got fixed in time for the Olympics as they were very memorable. If not check youtube, and I’m sure you can find all the good highlights.
