window-shopping marathon

We were out all day yesterday, the girls and I and our/their cousins from out of town. It’s the sort of endless shopping day that we look forward to.
We, i.e. none of us, have been to Midvalley Megamall in a whole year. There are lots of sales going on. But our cousins from out of town noted that the prices of everything has gone up. So we didn’t end up with that many shopping bags!
Eight hours straight of window-shopping later, we parked ourselves at Big Apple to enjoy some doughnuts and coffee. The tunnel that’s opened up between Midvalley and the Gardens is kinda neat although I can’t say the food places there are particularly attractive by any means.
We certainly didn’t appreciate having to pay double the flat weekday parking fee. There’s no reason to raise the parking fee because you still can’t find a parking spot and you end up having to drive around in circles like a vulture. Crazy!
We will make it a point not to go to Midvalley now that parking costs more, the stores at the Gardens are too upmarket (for us 
) and there’s nothing really special about Midvalley that you can’t get at 1 Utama 
.
