great barbecue weather

We’re having great barbecue weather, believe it or not? It’s cool in the evenings with a light breeze blowing. What I don’t understand is why no one seems to be having a barbecue.
I only see folks having barbecues during Chinese New Year when it’s the hottest and driest and really, in my books, not the best weather for starting a huge fire and trying to roast meat.
If you’re at loose ends this weekend, consider rounding up a few friends over a fire in your backyard and dining under the starts.

Ahh…the backyard barbeque. There’s nothing like it!
Where I live we’re just now starting to get out of the freezing cold weather and on to barbeque-worthy temperatures. Many of us on the street are planning a group barbeque this weekend–if the weather holds up. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
