Backstreet Boys Unbreakable tour 2008 – we were there!
Would you believe it? We made it to the Backstreet Boys concert at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach last night. We weren’t sure about going but then, the girls and I were listening to their songs so much over the past week that we pretty much ’sang’ ourselves into going.
And man, are we glad we did! Remember I was worried about the concert being free standing? Well, we were lucky we found a raised embankment between two pools of water, and established our base there. Excellent, unobstructed view!
I was real glad I got my voice back too (yep, sounded like a frog on Monday due to this nasty sore throat and cough) – just in time. OMG, there I was, a mom of 3 teens singing, screaming, dancing, jumping, waving wildly – um, in a word, acting like a teen myself 
. But I didn’t care. I was having such a good time. I wasn’t going to stand there like I was singing the national anthem. I was going to paa-arty, man!! Woo-hoo!!
So anyways, the concert was smashing, the Boys bedazzled us and now we can’t stop singing their songs. We had such a blast, you would not believe 
! Yes, despite standing 3 hours in line through lightning flashes, fierce wind and whipping rain!
If you’re in any of the cities that are on the Unbreakable tour list, go to the concert, you’re gonna love it, love it, love it even if you’re a mom (or dad) of teens .
