the lion dances @ 1 Utama
The lion dances have on at 1 Utama so if you haven’t seen them yet, this would be a great place to bring the kids. Well, I’m not a kid but still I crane my neck and look forward to the lively lion dances every year.
The kids and I were there for the opening night and the lion dance was nothing short of spectacular. Some really fancy footwork and impressive high jumps. Lucky us, we even managed to grab a complimentary mandarin orange the lion was giving to the audience.
This particular lion troop (I didn’t quite get their name) is first class in my books. By that, I mean they’re very very good and you shouldn’t miss them. And no, 1 Utama isn’t paying me to say this, I wish they were but 
.
I’m not sure if the schedule is on the 1 Utama website but I’m posting it here so you guys can get there early to grab a good spot. They’re on at 4 pm at the Center Court, New Wing on January 23, 26, 27, February 2, 3, 7, 9 and 10, 2008.
