new year, new energy needed

The kids and I were camped out at the mall waiting for the countdown and fireworks on New Year’s Eve.You cannot imagine how tired it was waiting around for hours though I do have to say it was quite fun watching the crowd go by.
The past couple of days, we’re been trying to recoup our energy and get ready for school which starts tomorrow. We had all those last-minute dashes to the store to get our supplies of school stuff, groceries and just about everything else that we’d missed buying.
I’m not looking forward to the mad rush tomorrow when everyone goes back to school and work. I’m trying to get an early night so I’ll have the energy for what I anticipate will be hours in traffic and finding out what the school schedule will be like for this year.
