I just got back from a friend’s housewarming party. I had a good time but I’m not so sure she herself did. In fact, I hardly saw her she was too busy slaving away in the kitchen.
She prepared enough food to feed a party. She served chicken curry with yellow sticky rice, fried curried chicken wings, fried noodles, yam cake, mixed veggies, curry puffs, gosh the list goes on.
It was amazing how she managed to come up with so much good stuff. The only thing she catered was the nyonya dessert which I forgot to try, hehe.
