tips for working out
My gym buddy was telling that since he began his workouts years ago, he’s felt so much healthier, and I have to agree. Exercise does make you feel healthier and more energized.
I work out not to lose weight (because I’m not fat to start with) but just to get a tone, to keep fit and have some fun. So you don’t have to be fat to justify exercise.
I work out three to four times a week and thoroughly enjoy it
. So I’d recommend it to anyone to start exercising because it’s really fun. Here are some of my personal tips with you:
- Always warm up before you start. This is important so you don’t injure yourself. Do your stretches to loosen up your major muscles before you start. Always.
- Drink before, during and after your workout. Water fills you up and gives you a tremendous energy boost. Think of water as gas for your car. If your gas tank is empty, your car won’t run.
- Be sure you sip, not guzzle your water. When your engine is running full steam, it may be damaging to splash a pail of water on it. Go easy on the speed and volume of your water intake.
- Don’t over-exercise. Listen to your body otherwise you risk injuring yourself.
- Start light and work at your own pace. Gradually increase the intensity of your workouts as you gain strength.
Do you have any workout tips of your own to share?

These are really good points to remember. I wish I would do better with the water thing. It is amazing sometimes that I don’t dehydrate myself as I tend to forget about drinking enough.

LOL building muscles is great for that guys but I’m trying my best not to have sumo arms, they look rather unfeminine.
