While I like the idea of subjecting a home to some home improvements once in a while, I really dread the thought of all that dust and dirt flying around all over the place.
For instance, my aunt who lives in Essex is having her windows and a couple of other things spiffed up around the house, she wrote to say, and it’d driving her nuts with the noise and the dust.
She is, however, very pleased with the progress of the work. Which is good, I told her, you want to see things done right the first time.
I think she mentioned she’s getting some very good discounts too from Anglian Home Improvements, one of the oldest and most trusted contractors in the UK.
It sure looks like she’s getting a good deal here though all my uncle seems to be hearing is my aunt going, “Are we done yet? I want to have my house back!”
