It’s amazing the number of relationship stories Raine hears from her friends at school. I guess at this age they just can’t stop talking about boys and love and dating.
For some, their young lives are fraught with boyfriend problems, some of them pretty complicated. There’s an unbelievable amount of rivalry among the girls for the coolest, best looking guys and well, in a nutshell, it’s pretty much what you would see in high school movies.
At the ripe old age of 14, these girls are already have had more boyfriends than many of us have had in our entire lives 
. As a parent, I’m not really sure what to make of all this.
But I’m glad Raine is giving me a peek into what some of these kids are doing behind their parents’ backs and it gives me a better idea of what to expect in parenting our modern teens. Funny how our parents never seemed to have these concerns.
