After dragging that rickety old taxi around town in second gear for a day, I decided to hound my mechanic about giving me a car that I can at least drive.
And he gave me this!
Now this is more like it! When I saw this tank of a car, I jumped for joy. Truck is big but not this big!
Finally air-con, seatbelts that work, power steering and it’s auto, four wheel drive and even has a sun roof. This thing is so solid it’s set to mow down anything in its path!
The kids blasted the radio and we sang at the top of our lungs as we cruised into town and spent the day scaring smaller cars off the road (muahaha!).
Truck is back now. I don’t think my mechanic really trusted a woman to drive his tank for one minute longer than he has to. At any rate, we’ve all missed Truck and we’re glad he’s back!
