I made a boo-boo the other day posting about which country would be featured at the fireworks competition last night. Raine saw the ad on TV that said it would be Italy. But it turned out to be a show by the global team.
We drove out there last night taking the lo-oong route in the hopes of avoiding the Friday night traffic. Well, it took us a full hour to get there despite the roads being clear for the most part.

This time, we ended up at the opposite end of where we were last Wednesday night - near the lake, I think (it was too dark to see
). This spot offered a much better view for us as well as Steev’s camera.
We were the loudest there, of course, cheering with each explosion of color that lit up the night sky. The crowd around us were strangely quiet. Beats me how you can watch something so beautiful without a single bleep of wonder and excitement. Duh!

The global team sure put up a wonderful show. It dazzled the heck out of us. See, if you put the great minds and hands of the global community together, you can come up with some pretty amazing stuff!
Sadly, there are still people living in the Stone Ages who don’t appreciate the power of globalization and the global nature of the internet, and who refuse to acknowledge that global milestones are being forged every millisecond right outside the cave where they live
!
