Okay, our free tickets to Shrek 3 are in our hands. Yay! It’s tomorrow morning and it comes with free brunch and the usual popcorn and drinks. We’re really on a roll here.
The weather’s been unusually warm so we’re thinking we might leave our sweaters at home. Maybe not. It’s usually freezing inside the cinema. [...]
So finally we had our free tickets in hand. We were thrilled that an invitation to a pre-movie cocktail party came with our tickets. This came as a pleasant surprise to us.
Happily we showed up an hour before the movie and were led straight to the cocktails. Mmm, sweet! This is the life, we chirped!

Shutter.bug and I were driving back from Canon when we got a call from Jelly.bean. She was so excited she could hardly speak. I could hear her going “we got the tickets! we got the tickets!”

I haven’t gone to the mall once this past week. Work in and at home has been keeping me chained to both my desk at work and at home.
I haven’t even had time to think about shopping, for crying out loud. And that’s really how dry my week has been.

We got free tickets to Spiderman 3 but didn’t know it came with free popcorn and drinks. So like total idiots, we got in line and bought ourselves 2 large boxes of popcorn, 2 large cokes and two 1901 hotdogs.
On the way in, we noticed the counter where they were dishing out boxes of free popcorn and drinks. [...]
McDonald’s has added hotcakes to their menus. At first, it appeared to be a breakfast-only item but apparently they serve it all day at their 24-hour outlets.
Hotcakes are their fancy name for pancakes. They’re sold in stacks of twos and threes, not nearly high enough to fill an empty tummy though.
