only one card?

I think I was one of the first few people to sign up for 1Utama’s OneCard when it first launched. Wasn’t sure what the privileges were, except what little it said on the signup form, but it sounded like a good idea.

It lets you collect points when you shop at certain stores at 1Utama. The card is still very new. Not many stores are on the program yet. These are the ones with the red card imprint on the front of their stores. I’m told the point collection systems are still being installed at participating stores so I reckon it’ll be a while before you can reap its full benefits.

The card also doubles up as a parking card that you can use to pay for your parking via points accumulated in your card or by purchasing credits.

If you’re a regular at 1Utama, it’s probably worth your while signing up. It’s free so you’ve got nothing to lose. But so far, I haven’t accumulated any points yet despite the stores telling me they’ve inserted my points. I checked my card at the parking ticket machine and it shows a big fat zero.
