eat, drink, burp and be merry!
Happy New Year!!
Whew! It’s been a long time since the last post. Well, we’ve been living on leftover turkey since last week. We can’t wait till tonight. Only once a year we get to watch fireworks and that’s tonight, New Year’s Eve.
Last year we were stuck in this humungous traffic jam outside Central Park, watching the fireworks. It was total madness. Some people were on their car roof tops, some had their necks craned out of the window, some were shouting, screaming and whistling while others were like, “Wow!” and “Look at that one!” and “I like the one that just faded!”
We were in the car screaming and clapping like mad people. No doubt we were quite loud because the other people stared into our car at us.
Tonight, it will be McDonald’s for supper. We don’t usually have supper but every New Year’s Eve will be special. The crowd at McDonald’s last year was so big that many people were standing.
I think this year there will be a larger crowd at both 1Utama and The Curve because of the fireworks that they say are supposed to last for 10-20 minutes and the artists that are going to perform. The tents are up outside 1Utama and between The Curve and Ikano. Hmm.. I wonder where we will be..
May you have a great, fantastic, wonderful, healthy and prosperous year ahead.
